Preparing for your appointment and what to expect…
Complete the form “issues disrupting my life”. If there are items you are unwilling to share with your practitioner, put those on there as well, in code if need be. The Practitioner is able to identify the priority issues and proceed in that order ensuring the best value for each session. The lesser issues have a shorter processing time and can be used to fill any open session time. The sessions are for the clearing of one issue not to exceed 60 minutes. However if there is time your Practitioner can clear other issues. The minimum charge is for 60 minutes unless scheduled for less by the Practitioner. Remember, time that exceeds 60 minutes is charged at an equitable amount for each 10 minutes or portion thereof.
Your first appointment will start with a free 30 minute period to complete office forms, get acquainted, and introduce you to the scientifically proven non-force kinesiology process. Our goal each visit is to get you into treatment as quick as possible. Once a treatment has started there is time for discussion. We want you to have a warm and friendly experience but one that maximizes your healing. If at any time you feel rushed or have questions please tell your Practitioner. This is your 60 minutes.
Some clients need to discuss their issues before going into the treatment process. Because this is your session, you are in charge, and we will be good listeners. However, ERST International does not train their Practitioners as counselors and, unless trained in a Counseling field, can only offer suggestions and not professional advice. Our process is manual, has amazing results, and most often eliminates the need for additional therapies unless guidance is needed making us much less expensive. We are also an adjunct therapy for Psychologist, Counselors, Hypnotherapists, Life Coaches and related fields. The results obtained with ERST is literally a paradigm shift in Psychology because it by-passes the need for analysis and discussion of an event or issue.
Your Practitioner will have a preferred method of positioning for the client which could be on a table, in a chair or even standing up. During the healing process you’ll usually be seated or lying down. This is a relaxing time and you may find yourself snoozing as the tension leaves, enjoy. Due to scheduling there may a conflict in clearing an issue. If the issue calls for an extended amount of time you will need to make a second appointment to complete it. When the Practitioner finds that the time needed exceeds the time available the client can choose an alternate issue that can be completed in the time frame left and set a second appointment with a time frame that allows for the complete process.
Finding the Practitioner for you There is a practitioner’s page on the site. You will want to select a Practitioner that you feel most comfortable with. Trust your “gut feeling” as you look over the pictures and comments of each person. Some have training in other techniques that may interest your or perhaps you just like the way they word their Bio. All of them are able to help you overcome your problems and put you on the pathway to “become” the person you want to be.
What results can you expect? ERST removes the fear around outdated instinctual thought patterns, negative emotions and limiting beliefs plus their triggers. Emotions are the action we take during times of stress. If someone calls you a name and normally you cry; you will no longer feel the need to cry. You will respond differently to the situation and find that you do it competently. You will usually find that the person who triggered the emotion no longer acts in the way they did before because they can no longer control you through the same trigger. Because you are in charge of your actions they will have to find another way to interact with you, most always in a respectful and equitable way. ERST is powerful because all the advice in the world from all the great Counselors is worthless if you have an unconscious program (fear)that stops you from fallowing it. Unconscious programs are our forte. That is why ERST should always be the first emotional therapy you choose. Many times an ERST Treatment will take care of your issue, but sometimes it is necessary to do more than one. Very deep emotional issues are multi-faceted. Some depressions, abuse, and addictions come under this heading. ERST will make things better with each treatment until we identify and remove all the issues involved. We get to the cause rather than putting on a Band Aid that calls for suppression and the continued use of strategies that often fail in the long run because the cause of the problem is still there.
